What is a juggler?
Where do they come from?
Why do they exist?
Are they related to elves or fire sprites?
How do they learn?
All these questions and many more are sure to have permeated the tongues of
peoples for 1000s of years. From the beginning of time, humans have thrown
and caught objects, whether it be rocks, berries or sticks.
Surely what else is there to juggling but the most basic of actions?
- The humble throw and catch.
Yes. Juggling is this, a basic skill learnt for personal satisfaction, which when
mastered can become a communal pleasure, and so juggling creates jugglers.
Jugglers, who having mastered the manipulation of many objects, will entertain
not only themselves, but also others.
Is this a responsibilty? To serve society by sharing the skill learnt, or like a monk,
is it a private skill to hone to perfection?
This is a question which can only be answered by each individual juggler, for
juggling is far more than just the manipulation of objects, it reaches to meditation,
religion, even to philosophy.
Like the universe with planets orbiting, jugglers are complete game masters,
ready at a moments notice to roll with the dice, to move with the times and to
defy belief.

foray into one of the oldest arts in the world - juggling ...
